6.On the auspicious day of Ekadasi His Divine Grace appeared on this earthly planet and according to your instructions He is flooding the whole universe through Glorifying The Glories of Sri Caitanya’s Holy Name.

7. O! Prapbhupada, Srila Jayapataka Swami is a rightful candidate for receiving Your mercy. Kindly bestow Him with full strength to enable Him to preach (by travelling all around the universe) and glorify the words of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

8.O! Prabhupada I Subak kanai das, humbly pray unto your lotus feet please let me be as eternal servant of His Divine Grace Srila Jayapataka Swami Gurumaharaj birth after birth.

1.O! Srila Prabhupada

You being so Compassionate have bestowed Great Mercy upon us by giving us in Charity Gaura Dhana Jana.*

Who can compare or measure His unlimited and great glorious Mercy?

*Footnote: above mentioned as Gaura dhana jana is addressed to Srila Jayapataka Swami Maharaja as His name by birth is JOHN GORDAN

Srila Prabhupada explains this as Gor-dan- John (Gaura Dhana Jana). And Srila Jayapataka Swami is one of the eternal associate of Sri Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu in His Sankirtana Movement.(Gaura Dhana Jana)

2.You are exemplary in Conduct, in preaching, in rules and regulation and He follows your footsteps. To fulfil Your spiritual desires, He took the vows You had taken as His own.

3.Rather than taking care of His health, Srila Jayapataka Swami Maharaj according to your instructions, upon seeing the misery of the fallen souls everywhere, is delivering them by bestowing them with Krsna prema.

4.He is compassionately travelling all around the world opening the Namahatta & Bhakti Vriksha centres, installing the deities and distributing the Holy Name of the Lord by showing the path of crossing over the material ocean to every conditioned soul.

5. Therefore if You had not given us the compassionate ocean of mercy (Srila Jayapataka Swami Maharaj) then how could have we got the causeless mercy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu?

April 22, 2013.- Around 60 devotees gathered at the local temple in Perth, Western Australia to celebrate our Guru Maharaja, Srila Jayapataka Swami’s Vyasa Puja.

The local disciples presented their homages to Guru Maharaja in front of a Vyasasana beautifully arranged for him and placed next to Srila Prabhupada’s in the temple room.

The event was honoured with the presence of His Holiness Hanumat Presaka Swami, who preaches in South America together with Guru Maharaja. His Holiness related some anecdotes of them serving in challenging circumstances where Maharaja pointed out how Guru Maharaja encourages everyone to work together in ISKCON in the spirit of friendship. He acknowledged Guru Maharaja’s efforts to accommodate everyone in Srila Prabhupada’s house (ISKCON).

The program included Bhajans, offerings, Puspanjali and Guru Puja. The disciples expressed their appreciation to Guru Maharaja with sincere heartfelt sentiments. Subal Prabhu (a Bengali devotee) produced a song in glorification of Guru Maharaja’s qualities that we all sang at unison. Hema Prabhu recited a poem; Sitarama pr offered a report of the temple’s progress; and others told interesting pastimes or read their offerings.

Some described the class that Guru Maharaj had given earlier on that day in Mayapur emphasising his duty to help the disciples to engage in the service of Srila Prabhupada and Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. In essence, it was a blissful event where Guru Maharaja’s qualities of compassion; care; commitment and purity came afloat.

After around 120 Ekadasi preparations were offered, aratik to Sri Sri Gaura Nitay was performed. Then, Nitay Prema Prabhu led the chanting of the Mangalacarana verses and all the participants offered puspanjali to the lotus feet of Guru Maharaja. A number of opulent garlands were placed on Guru Maharaja and finally, Guru Puja was performed  while the Samsara prayers was sang by the devotees.

To close the event, Mahaprasadam was distributed. The devotees could feel the auspicious atmosphere that offering sincere adoration to the Spiritual Master had created.

To complete the event the disciples of Guru Maharaja will offer a grain-feast to the community of Perth devotees on Thursday 25th of April.
