Sorry , some of the lilas were incomplete or had some errors, and so I am resending them here along with a new one:
5) Guru Maharaja was sitting on his chair after a late night program in Mathuradesh and chanting his Gayathri mantra. After around five minutes, his head began to droop and we took it that he was very tired and sllepy.

I requested a prabhu to gently wake up Guru Maharaja by pressing his lotus feet.
Guru Maharaja did not wake up and so we waited for a few more minutes. His head was looking too uncomfortable and not able to bear the thought of Guru Maharaja getting a neck pain, I requested the prabhu to try waking him up again.

Guru Maharaja opened his eyes and said, "I was in samadhi".
Oh I wished then that the ground would open up and swallow me for having disturbed Guru Maharaja's samadhi.

6) One mataji , (for confidential reasons, Iam not revealing her name), was very eager to take initition from Guru Maharaja. She had waited a long time for her husband also to join her, but he was slow in his advancement. So she decided to go ahead. But there was no way in which her husband would agree to it.

Guru Maharaja mercifully agreed to intiate her within closed doors, as she was a very sincrere devotee and was determined to be initiated.
After the initiation, Guru Maharaja spoke to her and gave her some mahaprasadam from hi plate as a benediction.

As the mataji reached home, she was in great fear and apprehension over her husband's reaction to her found missing at home. She had gone to visit Guru Maharaja without his permission and she felt he might have guessed where she had gone!

To her surprise, he was very calm and also accepted the remnants of Guru Maharaja that she offered him, without of course revealing that it was so.

The next morning, her husband told her, "I think you should go ahead and take initiation from your Guru!"
She came excitedly to reveal this miracle which had happened and later when we mentioned this to Guru Maharaja, he suggested that she should now take an open intiation and invite her husband also to sit along with her at the yagna!

9) Kamala gopi dd was in the early stages of pregnancy and the doctor had advised her complete bed rest and no bending at all as she had clusters of fibroids in her uterus. When Guru Maharaja viisted Mathuradesh, she could not resist viisiting him, and posponing the appointment she had with her gynaecologist, she came to have Darshan of Guru Maharaja.

She forgot all of her Doctor's instructions and payed obeisances to Guru Maharaja who blessed her with his Danada. On enquiry of her health, she revealed to Guru Maharaja about her precarious health situation.

The next day, during her doctor's visit, the X- Ray revealed that all of the fibroids were gone and she was perectly okay! This was indeed a great miracle and the Doctor was also very surprised to see the report!

Again during her next pregnancy, her foetus was not growing properly and the doctor advised her complete rest and no movement at all- not even turnng on her side! But being a school teacher, she had some commitmnets and was not able to get any rest at all. The Doctors were worried and told her that it is very unlikely that her child will grow and be alive for the full term.

Again during Guru Maharaja's visit, she came, rendered services for him by cutting vegetables and so on, and also paid her obeisances to him.Again he blessed her with his danda.
After his visit, as she went to the doctor for a check up and the doctor exclaimed after seeing her scan report, "Your baby has over grown and is perfectly normal!"
Somehow Guru Maharaja was there to bless the second child after ten days of her birth and to give the first one her first anna or food grains!

7) We were driving to a shopping complex with Guru Maharaja. In the Gulf, the sun is quite severe in the day time. and so we normally take him to the airconditioned shopping malls, where there is ample walking apce for Guru Maharaja.
As we approached the City Center, the parking lot on the ground floor was full, and different devotees were advising the driver devotee abbout which floor he could try parking the car. Guru Maharaja wanted no time wasted. He grew impatient, and told the driver Vraja Prana das, "I empower you to find a parking space yourself right over here.!"

As soon as he said that after just a few metres away, just close to the entrance, we found a vacant space for the car! Jai srila Gurudeva!

8) One mataji was expecting a child and she came to take her blessings from Guru Mahraja.
Guru maharaja instructed her to do the "Sosayanti "samskara before the delivery.
This was the first time we heard him instructing someone to do this specifically..

As she got her labor pains shortly, she was rushed to the hospital and some how the ceremony of soshayanti was missed. But the brahmana devotee Mukunda murari dasa was rushed to the hospital and just before the delivery he managed to perform it right at the hospital.

After the child birth, we came to know that the baby was born with the cord around its neck and it was a highly dangerous situation. It came out safe and alive due to the timely performance of the samskara!

All the devotees, and especially the mother felt great ecstacy to see the miraculous birth of the baby bu Guru Maharaja's mercy.

1) A year ago, we were just leaving to the airport in a car from a farm program in the interior with Guru Maharaja. Madana Mohan Chaitanya das(MMCD) was just standing outside and saying his farewell to Guru Maharaja. Guru Maharaja asked him, "Why are you not coming to the airport?" He normally was always present to receive or send off Guru Maharaja.

"Iam wearing my dhoti, Guru Maharaja and have not brought my pants along." Being a muslim country, we had to be in secular dress outside.

Guru Maharaja said, "Then get yourself a pair of pants from the shop on the way and come to the airport!"

We started to drive and somehow Guru Maharaja still wanted to give his mercy to MMCD.
He asked Vijaya Venugopala prabhu, "Why are we not going in MMCD's car?"
"Guru Maharaja, everyone's services have been allotted and it is now the turn of Mantresha Gauranga das to drive you in this car."

Guru Maharaja was not satisfied.

Suddenly, the hazard lights of the car came on and would not go off at all even after the driver tried his best to do so. All of us checked if our doors were shut properly, but no matter what, the lights would not go off.
We could not continue driving witht he hazard lights on without a policeman driving up to us shortly.

Suddenly, MMCD's car was following ours! Vijaya Venugopala prabhu suggested that we could shift to his car. Guru Maharaja was game. So as we got into the car and started moving, the hazard lights on Mantresha Gauranga das' car went off!

We realized how Guru Maharaja's every desire gats fulfilled amazingly!


2) This happened around 16 years ago. Guru Maharaja had just come to Mathuradesh from the South African Ratha Yatra. Soon after his arrival during the morning walk, he handed his camera to us to take photographs.

Devotees developed the film quickly and we were amazed to see the photos! Theer was light coming out of Guru Maharaja's heart and sspreading like a flower all around. In another shot, Guru Maharaja is standing by the corniche wall and looking at the fishes in the sea, and the word "HARE KRISHNA" is seen on the waters!

We were excited and showed the photos to Guru Maharaja. He laughed and joked that this must something mystic!
Then he saw all the photos and saw some south African Ratha yatra photos of fire works. He laughed and remarked that you have taken shots from the same film of the South African Ratha yatara and that explains for all the mystical lights!
Neverthless, the perfect way in which the lights had appeared on the new photos still seemed mystical conveying to us the spiritual energy and love emanating from Guru Maharaja's heart!

3) During the same visit at the corniche during the morning walk, Guru Maharaja went close to the wall of the corncihe to look at the sea. Suddenly a flight of gulls made a huge racket, turned course and came towards Guru Maharaja! After coming a little closer, they flew away.

"Guru Maharaja, were they paying obeisances to you?" I asked.
"Not exactly", Guru Maharaja replied!

4)Guru Maharaja used to wear a magnetic band around his wrist a few years ago for health reasons and on the other hand, he had his watch on. I aske him what the purpose of the band was. He said very nonchalantly, "Oh it keeps spiritual time."

I asked him if he was both in the material and spiritual world at the same time. He looked up very seriously and replied, "Yes."

Of the numerous transcendental pastimes of Gurumaharaj which inspire's me to serve and follow the instructions of Srila Prabhupad,This particular pastime which took my faith and devotion towards Gurumaharaj to the highest level during the beginning of my KC.
It was the first time Gurumaharaj had come to ISKCON Shri Jagannath Mandir in Bangalore,after me and my family got to know about KC.I had heard alot of Gurumaharaj's glories but still i could not make it to take Gurumaharaj's darshan.(one reason being that i had not completely realised how transcendental Gurumaharaj is).Fortunately my mother and my sister had visited the temple to take Gurumaharaj's darshan.It was getting late,and that Gurumaharaj had not arrived.Since the temple is quite far from my place my Mom and sister decided to leave,but with a heavy heart for not being able to take Gurumaharaj's Darshan.Just when they were about to leave from the temple,Gurumaharaj arrived and stood right in front of them.The very sight of Gurumaharaj and His disciples around them,stunned both of them.They didn't know what should they say or how to react,but they felt blissful just by seeing Gurumaharaj.All Glories to Gurumaharaj,just his transcendental vision upon us,can make us feel so blissful.
To my Mother's Surprise Gurumaharaj took out the Narasimha Shaligraham from his chanting bag and blessed both of them ( Gurumaharaj neednt have taken the trouble to do so,but because of his cauless mercy for all,Gurumaharaj gave the special blessings).
Now what happened after this is something which took my faith for Gurumaharaj to a completely different level.After blessing my mother and sister Gurumaharaj asked my mom " Where is your other Daughter ?"( Referring to me ).It was the first time my mother saw Gurumaharaj and asking this question without discussing about my family prior to this is something i could not believe.This is not a difficult thing for Gurumaharaj ,but it surely made a huge impact on my faith and love for Gurumaharaj.From then on I have never missed to tell this pastime while glorifying Gurumaharaj,which inturn constantly inspires me to serve him better and strenghthens my faith.

Please do not use abbreviated words like PAMHO, AGTSP, GM etc. If we do not have time to properly address our spiritual master and our founder acarya we need to have a second look. Please write Guru Maharaja, Srila Prabhupada, Srila Prabhupada Ki Jaya. All glories to Srila Prabhupada, All glories to Guru Maharaja. Please forgive me if I have offended anyone. I beg you to honour them properly.

I specifically remember one initiation which took place in Bangalore long time back. There was a devotee Ashok Gupta. He was one of the many who were to take initiation that day. Everyone, except him got the initiated names and the chanting beads from Guru Maharaja.

When Ashokji's name came he was sitting in front of Guru Maharaja for quite some time. Guru Maharaja was looking at him and then again at the paper, with names, in his hand. This went on few times. The devotee was in so much tension. Guru Maharaja again asked for his karmi name and then again looked at the paper and the devotee. The whole hall had pin drop silence.

Guru Maharaja finally nodded his head and said, "Your name is Amirt Caitanya dasa". There was a loud Hari bol with sounds of clapping and kartals and drums. Guru Maharaja has a practice of removing one of the garlands, that he was wearing, and give it to the initiated devotee. Amrit Caitanya prabhu was so excited that he did not wait for the garland and started walking towards Srila Prabhupada's deity form. When he was about 7-10 feet away Guru Maharaja called him,"Hari bol!!!". As Amrit Caitanya prabhu turned Guru Maharaja threw the garland at him. To everyone's surprise and delight the garland perfectly fell around his neck. There was a huge uproar and loud shouts of "Hari Hari bol!!"

I am sure Amrit Caitanya prabhu and all those who witnessed it would never forget.

Dr. Nrsimhadeva at the Door





On Wednesday evening, Oct 22, 2008, we were performing our regular deity service at our local ISKCON temple in Houston. My Prabhu and me were dressing the deities of Sri Sri Radha Nilamadhava. I heard our cell phone ringing couple of times but I did not want to interrupt our service, so I did not pick it up. However, when it rang again, I felt that it must be an emergency. So, I got out of the altar and saw missed calls from my godbrother in Atlanta, HG Lakshman Ram Prabhu.

When I called him back, he gave me the most shocking news about Srila Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaja. He said that Guru Maharaj has fallen unconscious in Mumbai. He was not very sure of the cause of this, but everyone was worried. After that, I was not able to focus my mind properly on my service, so I started praying helplessly to the deities while completing my service.

Later, I called Mayapur to get some updates. Even there, they did not have clear picture as to what was the cause of Guru Maharaj's unconsciousness. We were just told to pray. When we came back home that night, we chanted special prayers to Lord Nrsinghadev for Guru Maharaj's protection.

We offered 108 tulasi leaves to Lord Nrsinghadev, chanting 108 name of Lord Nrsinghadev. We spent the night in constant anxiety and prayers.

Suddenly, I found myself in front of a door. When I opened the door, I saw Guru Maharaj lying down on the bed. I entered the room and stood by Guru Maharaj's bedside. He had tubes all over Him. It was intolerable to see Guru Maharaj n that situation. I started crying very profusely.

All of a sudden, the door to the room flung open and there stood Lord Ugrastanu Nrsinghadev of Mayapur, in all His glory. As He walked inside, I came forward and fell in prostrated obeisances in front of Lord Nrsinghadev. He picked me up and embraced me with all His eight hands. Very lovingly, the Lord spoke, "Why are you so worried? To relieve you of your worries, I have come here personally. To show you that I am personally taking care, I have come here. Come!!! Let me show you."

Lord Nrsinghadev took me by my hand towards Guru Maharaja's bedside. Then, with His little finger of His left hand, He extended His hands on the back of Guru Maharaja's head. Gently, with the nail of His little finger, He started caressing the back of Guru Maharaja's head, in the area above the neck.

The Lord continued, "See!! I am personally taking care. So, do not worry."

I felt assured and peaceful. All my anxiety dissipated. I knew that this whole situation was directly in Lord Nrsinghadev's Lotus Hands.

I suddenly woke up and realized that it was all a dream. But, I felt very releived. I could still feel the warmth of Lord Nrsinghadev's divine embrace.

This was a very powerful experience which deepened my attachment to Lord Nrsinghadev. Later, when I shared this experience with HG Pankajanghri Prabhu, he insisted that I write this experience and send to him.

Hare Krsna!Myself and my wife Madhu mathy Priya dd went to Coimbatore Jan 2003 to witness our first Rath Yatra..Guru Maharaj came there around 4PM.Everybody was offering obeisances and we too.Somehow or other after seeing GM's Blissful face, I started weeping and shivering giving the indication that he will be our Spiritual Master.Though we tried to get initiation from some other Guru,who frequently visits our place that attempt failed and ultimately we got connected by taking initiation(both simultaneously) during Jan 2006.This is how Krsna introduce us to the would be Guru.All Glories to Guru and Gouranga and to Srila Prabhu Pada!

Hare Krsna Prabhujis and Matajis,Dandavat.May be 2 years back GM was standing near PB and was looking at Radha Madhava.After 5 minutes he started weeping by opening his mouth wide ,his eyes with tears.I was standing 10feet from him.There was not much devotees near(after Aarti).Then he turned to PB side and controlled his emotions out of separation from Krsna.This reminds me that how pure devotees of the Lord will feel out of separation.This is one leela of GM.Thank you Hare Krsna!

Please accept my humble dandavat pranaams,
All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Gurumaharaj!

This was in January 2008 when there were GBC/RGB meetings going on in Surat. Gurumaharaj was in Surat and I had something really urgent that was forcing me to go to Pune. I was trying to see to it that my visit to Pune should not clash with Gurumaharaj's arrival at Ahmedabad, as I got the news that He had to take His flight from Ahmedabad. But that was exactly what happened. My train was just few hours before Gurumaharaj arrived. I had no choice. Simultaneously, my engagement was fixed up and (now) my wife Lakshmi was aspiring from some other Guru. We had no problems with that and were sure of respecting each others' views. So I was in the train and Gurumaharaj was here. For sure, I could not sleep. I was constantly cursing myself and my material engagements which forced me to leave Gurumaharaj and go. The pain was so much that I started crying in the train in solitude. While crying, suddenly I felt very sleepy and went off to sleep. And guess what? Gurumaharaj appeared, right in front of my face was His illuminating lotus face. Just a few inches away. Wide smile and satisfaction was adding to the beauty of His lotus face. His Holiness gave me a big pat on my back, said nothing, smiled again and disappeared. I woke up with a shock and realized that Gurumaharaj has taken a note of my feelings & took the pain to convey it to me. The Lila does not end here. Simultaneously, He was physically present at Ahmedabad. Exactly during the same hours my wife and very few devotees were with Gurumaharaj. One of our godbrothers introduced my fallen self first and then my wife to gurumaharaj. Gurumaharaj stared at her with His merciful glance, in His usual style. Then asked my wife about her initiation. My wife informed Him about her aspiration from other guru. So Gurumaharaj asked her straight, "I Am your would-be-husband's father, so what is My relation with you?" My wife was confused. Then, after a pause, with a cute smile gurumaharaj said, "I am your father too!" My wife could not understand what Gurumaharaj was indicating. So she just offered her obeisances and immediately gurumaharaj removed the garland from His lotus neck and gave it to her and said, "this is My blessing to your husband, give it to him when he returns." (photo inserted)Later on, when I inquired from my wife about what gurumaharaj said and at what time, she told me that the time when I was dreaming and gurumaharaj appeared to bless me, the same time gurumaharaj blessed us here at Ahmedabad.

Later my wife understood gurumaharaj's indication and since two years now she has become more desperate to get initiation from Him than me. She has understood His potential and is naturally devoted to Him now.

Such are the glories of our Mahaa Mahaa Guru-Mahaa-Raaja!

Just wanted to pen down a small experience I had with Gurumaharaj, back in 2008, in Madikeri, Karnataka, INDIA.

GM was staying in a hotel at Madikeri, getting ready for the first big ratha yatra what was being organized in that town. Many disciples and aspirants were around Gurudeva in his room, performing various sevas. There also happened to be some devotees getting prepared for initiation and were waiting outside the room to meet Gurudev and interact with him before the initiation ceremony.

I had recently done a small music project for a school and had earned some laxmis part-time and wanted to give that as an offering to Gurudeva completely. So I saved up the money and placed it carefully in a beautiful gift envelope, which had a 1 Rupee coin stuck on the outside of the envelope.

Just when I got the opportunity, I walked into Gurudeva's room and paid my obeisances and slowly crawled towards Gurudeva, as there were many devotees in the room at that time. Gurudeva noticed and asked me, "What is that?"... I then replied that I wanted to give him a Guru Dakshina offering as a token of my love and gratitude. I also mentioned that it was what I earned from a recent music recording project that I had done.

Gurumaharaj accepted the offering and looked at the one rupee coin and said, 'So you are giving me a 1 rupee offering?'... Such a sense of humor Gurumaharaj had that the entire room burst out laughing immediately. I was a bit shy and I said, "No Gurumaharaj, there is more inside the envelope".

A few moments passed, and all the laughter subsided. Gurumaharaj then immediately said, "Metal has more value than paper!"

This came out of nowhere, and really made a lot of sense to everybody, and the reason as to why people usually give donations along with a coin. I also realized how compassionate Gurudeva was to me, accepting whatever I had given.

It also made me realize that Gurumaharaj was actually making me feel better immediately, as everyone had laughed when Gurudev had asked me if I were giving him a one rupee coin, just previously. By mentioning that metal had more value than paper, he was actually accepting even that one rupee on the envelope as a part of the offering.

All I can say is that Gurumaharaj is just an ocean of mercy, and I'm sure just as this small incident has made a big difference in my life, there are many others out there who have received wonderful instructions and experiences with His Holiness.
